This is the roundel as seen on reconnaissance airplane SIM XIV H in 1927.

The country name was changed to Yugoslavia in 1929 and a new marking was adopted. This was a red, white and blue roundel with a dark blue bordered white cross superimposed.

Yugoslav Royal Academic Aero-club
The flag of the Yugoslav Royal Academic Aero-club, established in 1935, is shown on Zoran Pavlović's website. The flag's godfather was Prince Andrew, as it is inscribed on the obverse of the flag.
